Officejet Pro 9018
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently purchased an Officejet Pro 9018 All-In-One printer. It is installed on a Windows 10 Pro (64-bit) PC. The specifications say that the maximum scan resolution is 1200x1200 ppi.

I'm using the Scan shortcut that was installed on my desktop by the setup program and the highest resolution I can choose is 300 ppi. (screenshot attached) How can I get 600 or 1200 ppi to scan some photos?

Thanks.

Apologies for jumping in unannounced.

That's fine Walter - try the following:

Rather than leave the Main menu Source to "Document Feeder If loaded", select the flatbed / glass

Next, in More > Image > Select the desired settings

Check for any difference...

Example

Please scan directly from the glass area, you can't change DPI over 300dpi when using ADF.

Thank you Dragon-Fur! Your help solved my problem. I guess I was fooled by the "Document Feeder If loaded" setting. I can see now that there are more options available when set to "Flatbed". I suppose that I can create a new shortcut for those times when I may want to use the ADF.

Thanks again for your help!
