We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

My Deskjet is having copying issues. I can not copy the original document that is laying on the glass scanning tray. The paper will feed halfway into the printer/scanner when trying to copy. The paper stops feeding and I get the flashing exclamation mark beside the red X (add more paper). Once the flashing light starts I can not turn the printer/scanner off by pressing the power button. I have to unplug the printer/scanner. I have tried unplugging and restarting both the printer/scanner and computer. Please help. All I want to do is copy a recipe.

I understand the printer can print but cannot copy, need not worry I'll be glad to assist you with this.

 

To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:

Is the scanner bar moving and lit up?

 

Meanwhile, I suggest you do a Hard Reset

 

(1) Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.

(2) Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.

(3) With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.

(4) Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

(5) Wait at least 60 seconds.

(6) Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.

NOTE: HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to the wall outlet.

(7) Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.

(8) Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.

 

The printer might go through a warm-up period. The printer lights might flash, and the carriage might move.

Wait until the warm-up period finishes and your printer is idle and silent before you proceed.

 

Update the firmware for the printer using this link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-deskjet-1510-all-in-one-printer-series/5157551/model/5385180...

 

Restart the printer.
