Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm having trouble trying to scan my paperwork through my printer and it's not scanning my paper. As I lay the paper in front of the scanner, I'm clicking the scan button through my computer and the scanning sound comes on but the scanner isn't sucking up my paper through it. Please help me fix this issue! Thank you!!

You have to  Load the original print side up, fully justified to the right side of the scanner, until it feeds into the scan path and the scan light turns on.

I know that. I used to scan my paperwork and now it's not working anymore. Idk why it's doing this! Do I have to take it in to a repair place to get it fixed??
