My HP Envy 7640 will not print because it tells me you have to connect to web service  and i can not connect to the web service? So every time I try to print something a measage comes up and says : Connect printer  Cannot print . Connect printer to update HP Instant Ink status.I try to connect and it tells me there is server problem.The printer could not connect to web services, try again later  How do i get this fixed so i can print again?

Greetings and Welcome to the HP Support Community. 

 

Don't worry, I'm here to help!

 

Let's try these steps -

 

1) Turn on the printer, if it is not already on. 
2) Wait until the printer is idle and silent.
3) With the printer turned on, unplug the power cord from the printer & wall. 
3) Wait for 60 seconds.  
4) Plug the power cord back into the printer and wall, ensure the printer is plugged into the wall & not to a surge protector. 
5) Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
 

Also, try updating the printer's firmware. Refer to this document for steps - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware

 

Have you checked you HP Instant Ink account page? Your Instant Ink account page will have notifications if there are any issues with the account or recent cartridge shipment, it will even provide solutions on how to fix the issue. You may log in to your HP Instant Ink account page from here.
