My printer no longer 'copies'.  I can still get print outs from off my computer, but if I want to make a copy of something, it sounds like it's working, but doesn't print out anything.  The paper comes out blank.

Hi! @April016, Thanks for stopping by HP forums!

I understand you have issues making copies from your printer.

Don't worry I'll try to help you out.

Did you make any changes to your printer?

Try the steps recommended below.

Resetting the printer can force some types of scanners to calibrate which might fix the problem.
Remove any items from the scanner glass and automatic document feeder (ADF), then close the scanner lid.
With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the printer and from the wall outlet or power strip.
Wait at least 60 seconds.
Plug the power cord back into a wall outlet.
   NOTE:
HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to a wall outlet.
Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
Load the original document or photo, then try to copy.

If the still persists after trying out the steps you can try performing semi full reset on your printer and check if it helps.

Since the steps to perform semi full reset is confidential I will send you the steps in a private message, please watch your inbox for more information.

If even after performing semi full reset the issue still persists. It is a hardware issue with the printer. Please contact HP support for service options.

I'll watch your reply!

Have a wonderful day ahead! 🙂
