ScanJet Pro 4500 fn1 - vertical line on all scans (feeder and glass)
06-13-2018 09:14 AM
Hi all,
Yesterday, all of my scans started developing a ~2" vertical line going down the entire scan. It's to one side of the scan, same side every time, about an inch from the edge of the scan. It Anything between the line and the edge isn't scanned properly. It doesn't matter whether I use the feeder or the glass. The maintenance tool says I've scanned 397 times and hasn't recommended any maintenance yet. I attempted to use the print and scan doctor, but it doesn't see the scanner, even though it's connected directly to the PC via USB. I'm not sure where to proceed from here.

Since some time I have the exact same problem with my scanner.
When scanning on the flatbed the black line comes in.
When scanning with the sheetfeeder it only occures on the front side of each page.
The back side of a page is scanned fine.
Did you find a solution?
