ive always used my HP product scanner via the USB cable for my laptop. when opening up the HP App on my desktop I am able to see all the icons (i.e HP connected, Print/Scan/Fax, Shop, Utilities,etc) I have done this a million times before to access the scanner function
All of a sudden a message pops "THE HP OFFICEJET PRO 8610 WAS NOT FOUND" therefore I can no longer use my product for scanning. I can still use the product for printing purposes though either via Network link or directly via the USB cable.
I've installed the "HP Print & Scan Doctor" but struggling a bit. Please guys your assistance will be appreciated

Please Uninstall and Reinstall the FULL feature software following these steps:
1. Uninstall the software in your computer
2. Download and save the FULL feature software (do not install it online)
The following resource will help you :
Key in your printer model, Operating System and download & install the FULL feature software.
3. Install the FULL feature “Saved” software
Once you have downloaded and installed the FULL feature software, you will be able to print and scan.
