Scanner distorts pictures

My scanner has slowed down resulting in distorted pictures. People get stretched taller and thinner, rectangular photos often result almost square.

I've run several sheets of print feed cleaning paper through the scanner with no improvement.

I suspect the scanner feed rollers are dirty because I've been scanning many photos.

Is there a way to clean them? Anything else that may improve scan results?

I tried cleaning, except for moistening the paper path cleaning paper. No luck.

I think the feed rollers were worn or sticking; a full page seemed to feed OK, but photos fed unevenly and sometimes twisted.

That was a 3755: no access to the feed rollers.

I gave up and bought an all in one that has a flat plate for copying.
