Have installed macOS high sierra 10.13.1. After the installation my HP Scanjet G4010 is down. No upgrade found on the net supporting my scanner. What can I do?

Follow HP Easy Start below to ensure the latest essencial software and HP Easy Scan software are installed:

Hello! I have the same problem. My HP Scanjet G4010 scanner is not recognized by new OS. I installed HP_Easy_Start.app and launched it and still could not see my scanner in the options. I restarted and shut down and turned the mac on again and still my mac would not recognize the scanner. Don't know what else to do!! Please help.

I followed the easystart installation and it doesnt work in either MacOS High Sierra (10.13) or Mojave (10.14).
The scanners is selected during installation, but the test page scan fails to connect to the scanner.

The solution for me was to install the last ICA driver available for download :
HP Scanjet ICA Software for Mac OS X 10.9, 10.10 and 10.11
I will uninstall HP easy scan as I can use the image capture from Mac OS for scanning.
