My scanner for my printer is not working. I have tried using the USB, deleting my printer and readding it, shutting down both devices and restarting. I am not sure why the scanner is not working. I have been able to print, I just can't scan through the wireless feature or using the USB.

A warm welcome to HP forums! This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips to your technical queries.
I got to know from your post that you are not able to scan and I'll be glad to help you out. However, for an accurate solution, I would need more details:

Are you able to copy documents?

The wireless light on the printer, is it steady or is it blinking?

Any error when you try to scan?

The printer will not copy either. The light on my printer is steady. When I try to scan my computer says that the scanner timed out or had an error. @Senan6806

Thanks! Power resetting the printer may resolve the issue, let's try these steps:

1) Make sure this printer is plugged into a direct wall, not a surge protector

2) Remove all of your ink cartridges from the printer and close the door

3) Remove the power cord from the back of the printer (Do no press the power button)

4) Plug the power cord back into the printer

5) Wait for the printer to turn on completely, then install the ink cartridges.

6) Try to copy a document.

If issue persists, check the scanner bar functionality. Lift the scanner lid slightly, then press Copy and check if  the scanner light moves.
