Hello, I need to scan without using the document feeder, just by placing the document on the scan directly.

While this never was a problem, it is now. This function no longer works, HP easy scan return error message "Automatic Document Feeder is Empty". "No items were detected in the Automatic Document Feeder. Please place your originals into the Automatic Document Feeder and start the scan again."

I am using an Imac iOS V 10.15

Hi,

Please use Image Capture instead, till HP Easy Scan will be updated. it is not currently supported on Catalina 10.15:

It wouldn't be a resolution for me because Image Capture doesn't give you all of the same options for scanning the HP Easy Scan does.

So, anyone that has updated their MAC to Catalina has no HP Scanning application for their HP all in one printer?  What is your projected availability date of a driver that is compatible?
