Where can I find the HPSCANS.exe software to download?I ran the diagnostic,.it tells me to install this software, but I cannot find it.

Hi,

 

What's the printer model?

 

Try this:  

 

HP Scan Extended

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanExt.msi

Once it's downloaded and installed, go to Start > All Programs > HP > HP Scan Extended > Run "HP Scan Extended"

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

 

What's the printer model?  If it's Win 10, you can download from Microsoft Store and use the HP Smart app.

 

If HP FULL software is needed, use this link:


https://support.hp.com/in-en/drivers

Key in your printer model, Operating System and download & install the FULL feature software.

This didn't work. I had to use a link I found on here to download and install HP Scans separately.
