Bonjour

Etant très restreint sur la possibilité de contacter le support HP (pas envie de payer 20€ pour quelques questions) je me permets de prendre contact avec vos services par ce biais.

Je possèdes une imprimante OfficeJet Pro 7720 dont la tête d'impression et HS (tous les tests effectués selon les protocoles HP tendent vers ce constat et cela concerne la couleur noire).

Le plus intrigant dans cette histoire c'est que cette panne survient peu de temps après la fin de la garantie (obsolescence programmée ???) et que la tête d'impression coûte aussi cher à l'achat que l’imprimante elle même (100€ la tête et 140 € l'imprimante !!)

Merci de me tenir informé sur les possibilités qui s'offrent à moi

Good morning

Being very restricted on the possibility to contact the support HP (not want to pay 20€ for some questions) I allow myself to contact your services through this.

I have an Officejet Pro 7720 printer with print head and HS (all tests performed according to HP protocols tend towards this finding and this concerns the black color).

The most intriguing part of this story is that this failure occurs shortly after the end of the warranty (programmed obsolescence?) and that the print head is as expensive to purchase as the printer itself (100€ per head and 140€ per printer!!)

Welcome to the HP Support Community. Apologies for the inconvenience caused. I'd be happy to assist you.

 

What is the exact error message on the printer screen?

 

If you are facing an issue with the printhead, let us try these steps:

 

Reset the printer

  1. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  2. Wait at least 60 seconds.
  3. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
  4. Turn ON the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
  5. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.

Note: HP recommends connecting the printer directly to a wall outlet rather than a surge protector or a power strip.
