HP OfficeJet Pro 7740
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My scans come out tilted when scanned from document feeder.

Either if saved as PDF or Image.

See example below, a scanned blank sheet with highlighted edges. Please see the tilt on the top left, and bottom left edges where it is more evident.

Can something be done to fix this?

Welcome to HP Community

I have gone through your Post and would like to help

Please try these steps

- Turn on the printer.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
- Disconnect the USB cable from the rear of the printer. If your printer has a network or wireless connection, leave it connected.
- Remove the ink cartridges from the printer.
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and from the wall outlet or power strip.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
NOTE: HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to a wall outlet.
- Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
- Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
- The printer might go through a warm-up period. The printer lights might flash, and the carriage might move.
- Wait until the warm-up period finishes and your printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
- Reinsert the ink cartridges, and then close the ink cartridge access door.
- If you receive a prompt to print a calibration page, do so.

Also ensure the printer has the latest Firmware. https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c02919168

Next follow the instructions in Step 2 from this Link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-officejet-pro-7740-wide-format-all-in-one-printer-series/768... to clean the paper feed rollers

Thank you for taking the time to respond to my message.

Unfortunately, after following the suggested procedure, the scans still come out tilted.

Less tilted than before, but still.

This is one from today. This is not personal information.

I am using the guides as tight as possible to the sheet, without bending it. I have also tried to lose them up a bit, inserting the sheet centered and also aligning the sheet to each side, but all of the times it comes out a little bit skewed.

Would you have any other suggestion?

Does this happen even you make copies using the printer?
