Note: From May 1, 2024, the HP Scan and Capture app will no longer be available (retired) in the Microsoft Store and HP will not release any further app updates. Yes, Web Services might be down.  It does that sometimes.

 

You will have to wait it out.

 

Yeah, but - what can be done?

 

You can stop Web Services - wait a minute or ten - start Web Services.

Will that help?

Unknown - it is admittedly not "much" but it is the only thing you can do on "your side"; the rest is up to HP servers to provide the service.  The "server side" is the part we cannot see and cannot "fix".

 

Open your favorite browser > type / enter Printer IP address into URL / Address bar

Tab Web Services > Web Services Settings > Summary

 

OR

Open website:  HP Smart / HP Connected 

Open category How to > Turning On Web Services  (Includes “Turn off Web Services” help)

 

 

You will have to use other methods to transfer the data until Web Services starts working again.
