Hi friends,

I have a HP Color Laserjet Pro MFP477fnw, that works very nicely. The only problem is the fax, I would like to receive the faxes in my pc or in my email, but I don't know how to configure that. I have downloaded the full driver, and when I click the printer icon it opens a webpage with the printer IP (EWR I think).

Over the internet I read that I should use HP Digital fax, but with this EWR it doesn't exist. From the "fax" tab of the EWR the only available options are "print fax" or "forward fax" to another number, there is no option to forward it to an email or just save it on the pc. I attach a screenshot of that, I apologize if it's in Italian but it's also impossible to change language.

Please heeeellllppppp!!!!!

Hi,

the M477 printer does not offer any digital fax capabilities to receive faxes to a computer or email, such a feature is not available for your printer model.

 

You may find the printer specifications below, the Fax smart software feature does not indicate any such capabilities.

Regarding the language, click the System tab (the second one) and select System Setup (would likely appear as Configurazione di sistema or similar in Italian), from there you may change the language selection.
