I am scanning  documents to email, using the HP8600 N911g all-in-one printer, and I need to change email adresses that have been saved in the address book on the printer .  I can make a new entry with the same display name, and it will be saved, but I still have the incorrect entry with the same display name, and my list is cluttered.  I can get along without being able to edit previous entries, but I really do need to be able to delete them.  Please help. ps now i have no room now i really need to delete them

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Forums.

There is 2 ways you can delete the email addresses - through the software and through Embedded Web Server.

We will cover the software method here.

1. Through the Software which helped you to setup the email address. There is a "Delete" function.

(Watch this on how to setup (where the delete is @ time  59 secs)

Scan to Email setup and use  (HP Officejet Pro 8700 series)

Scan to Email._deletejpg.jpg

You can select the email that you want to delete and "delete".

Hope that helps!

Hi,

Have you tried to delete the email from the software?

Once you do that, the email is gone from the printer as well.

Thanks.
