Hi,
Scanning to email can only be done from the HP Scan software for the OJ 3830 printer, only if you have an email client application installed and configured on your computer.
If you can only access your email through a browser (e.g Gmail.com), you should scan to file and then manually attach it to an outgoing email.

Hi,
The HP full Feature Software and driver only support native Mail applications such as MS Outlook, not Windows 10 apps.
You may use the HP Smart app instead to scan, after scanning click Sare and select the Mail app from the shown options:
