iMac
macOS 10.13 High Sierra

Printer started printing two sided copies, didn't change anything.

Printer is extremely slow...1 minute before it prints a page; so a 10 page doc. would take ten minutes.

copier is not working at all.  always worked perfect and is on wireless network.

found the answer.  There was a piece of paper smushed against the inside of the printer when I opened the print cartridge door and looked to the right, it was causing the mismatch error.  It also solved the copy, scanner and all other problems.  I had done everything including resetting back to defaults, charging the cartridges rebooting multiple times, unplugging and setting for 60 seconds over and over and it was this piece of paper I didn't; see causing all the problems including the delay in printing.  No one told me to look there.  I figured it out on y own after 2 weeks.  There is your answer.  Look inside the back and the side, just in case your paper is stuck somewhere else.

It gives me a paper mismatch message, yet the printer prints and the scanner works, but its takes at least 50 seconds before anything prints out an the inside keeps going back and forth.

The same thing is happening with my printer when I try to make a copy.

BINGO!  That was it.  I found a wadded up piece of paper hidden.  Works again. Thanks again.
