Note: From May 1, 2024, the HP Scan and Capture app will no longer be available (retired) in the Microsoft Store and HP will not release any further app updates. We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

Are you able to copy? Do you get any error message? If you're on Windows Operating System, try these steps:

 

Let's run the HP Print and Scan Doctor:

If the issue persists, let's do a root uninstall and reinstall of the software:

 

Unplug any USB cable, if any, before doing this.

 

1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features

2.) Select your HP Printer

3.) Select Uninstall

4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers

5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose 'Delete' or 'Remove Device'

6.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.

7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)

8.) Click on the "Drivers" tab

9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom

10.) Select Ok

11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows

12.) Close Devices and Printers

13.)  Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.

14.) Type c:/programdata and click Ok. Go to Hewlett Packard folder, remove any printer related folders & files.

15.) Restart the computer.

its an envy hp 5020 all in one printer

HELP! THE SUPPORT SYSTEM ISN'T GIVING ANY INFORMATION.

I am using an Asus Chromebox

I believe now the issue is that my HP Envy 5020 cannot join the WiFi Network

 

The SSID comes up DIRECT-66-HP ENVY 5000 series

Security: PSK (WPA or RSN)

 

Password

 

We, unfortunately, don't have a record of this  & there doesn't seem to be an option to reset! Help!

Further development, I have now managed to connect our printer to the WiFi Network

 

It is still not printing!!

 

Any advice??

Envy Photo 7134

A print message switches on the printer but it does not print. This happened once before and then out of the blue it corrected itself. I have tried all the available solutions online etc. Could it be a problem with Windows 10?

How is the printer connected,USB or Wireless?

Are you getting any error message while printing?

 

Meanwhile:

Perform a power reset

  1. Turn on the printer, if it is not already on.
  2. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
  3. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  4. Wait at least 30 seconds.
  5. Plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet and printer without any surge protector.
  6. Turn on the printer.
