I want to scan to my computer from the printer control panel. It will let me scan to a file on my computer from the computer, but there it says I have to set it up.  I can't find where to set it up.

Thanks for using the HP Forums.  Apologies for jumping in here.

 

Please install the FULL feature software.

 

Then enable the "Scan to Computer" feature.

When touch Scan then Computer, can you see your computer on the list ?

 

1. If no please try

 

(a) Double click icon on desktop,

(b) Click Scan,

(c) Click Manage Scan to Computer,

(d) Click Enable.

 

Then try

 

2. If yes, select a right computer you wish to scan to.
