@AA1987, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

  • Try making a standalone copy and check if that works. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue.
  • Which application are you using to scan from your MAC?
  • Are you able to print from the MAC?

Update the printer firmware

Click here to download and install the latest firmware from your MAC.

 

Also, check for any software updates on MAC

Click the Apple icon > About This Mac > Software Update and install any available update.

 

Refer to this document to know how to scan from your MAC.

 

If the issue persists, we will have to reinstall the printer.
