Product: laserjet pro MFP M477fnw
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I would like to scan from my laserjet to my computer through the usb cable.  there is no option to do this on the touch screen.  the three options are:

 

  1. scan to usb drive
  2. scan to network folder
  3. scan to email

is it possible to set it up to scan to computer via usb?

Hi,

 

Have you installed printer software and drivers to your computer yet ? Please do that first using the CD which came with printer.

yes i have, and i have been printing to it.   now that i have tried to set up a network the printer is not listed in devices.  i thought setting up as a network printer would let me scan to a folder on the computer or a network folder.
