Hello, @wkhalil – Hope you are well 🙂

Thanks for joining HP Support Forums! It is a great place to find the help you need, from other users, HP experts, and other support personnel.

I understand that you are getting wrong time on fax sent. I will certainly do my best to help you find a solution 🙂

You mentioned that you changed the time on your computer. But, we need to change the date and time on the printer to get this straightened out. Try the steps below:

  1. On the printer control panel, swipe the display to scroll to Setup, and then touch the Setup icon (). The Setup menu displays.

  2. Select Preferences - Date / Time.

  3. Make sure you select the correct time and save the settings.

  4. Now try to fax and check.

Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you require further assistance.

Good luck 🙂

I attempted to resolve Date/Time issue on my HP Officejet Pro 8610 using suggestion:

On Printer Control Panel, scroll to Setup, select preferences-Date/Time

Using the above, in setup, there was no option to slect "preferences-Date/Time.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
