Hi,
when I scan a small black rectangle appears in the upper right corner. it does not happen when making a copy.
the problem has always been present.
any suggestions?

Hi,

Do you scan in color or black and white?

 

Have you tested the same condition while copying? (e.g. test color copy if it happens on standard color scan)

same issue in color and /bw scan, nothing while coping....

What software do you scan from? (e.g. HP Scan, HP Smart or any other software)

 

what are the exact steps taken?

 

Can you see the same results for any scanned file type? e.g when scanning as PDF and as JPG too?

hi,

I scan from the hp app and from the irfanview scan menu, on windows 10, and with the linux simple-scan program.
always the same result in png, jpg or pdf.
remember that making a simple copy the black block does not appear ....
