Downgrade Windows 8.1 to Windows 7

Hi all,

I have bought a HP 15-N251EP taht came with windows 8.1 and since day 1 I have been having several issues regarding mouse, applications freezing. Run some hp diagnostic tools, and reinstalled more than once and the issue persist. I would like to downgrade windows 8.1 to windows 7 to check if this could help. My question is if I can do this legally on this laptop.

If you are having this kind of problem try to update the driver or uninstall and reinstall the driver check with other mouse

Downgrading is not a good option

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. But I think the issue is bigger than that. Since this happens across several other applications. THe mouse is just one of them. What I would like to test is to see if the laptop would handle win 7 better than win 8.1.
