Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I had to have hp remotely access my computer to fix webcam. (before the 90 days of free support was up). I never received the product key/activation code for the cyberlink power dvd 14 media player and can not play dvd's on my laptop. When I called to ask for the code the techs refused to give me the product key so that I can use the software stating that it wasn't their software but I see you can download it from their web page. They can give me the code that I never received to begin with for $50. Does anyone know where I can get the product key to use the software?

Hi @kat6973,

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post serial numbers and case details.

Hi thanks for forwarding my question to the correct department but with the assistance of the IT department of my school, the issue has been resolved and it didn't cost me $50 up front and $14 a month.

Thanks,

@kat6973

The best way I know to find all the product key codes on any PC. is to get the free advisorinstaller.exe at Belarc.com. From start of download until FULL profile of your PC with every product key is well under 10 minutes, closer to 5. Save file as full webpage, as there are multiple pages. Most of which you won't need, but always good to have.
