Flashing green and red light wont charge and won’t connect

I got my printer a little while ago for Christmas a few years ago and I went to turn it on and plugged it in, it immediately started flashing red and green and when I held down the button on the side it would stay a solid red until released and sometimes have a solid white light for a few seconds while it’s being held. I tried a couple other cords to charge it and it just won’t hold it’s charge. I also noticed when I shake it it makes a rattling noise but it’s just been sitting around so I don’t lnow how that would of happened.
