HP Sprocket Studio

My Gallery never loads on Pixel 9 Pro XL.  After setup, goes the the gallery screen where it just shows, Collage, Precut stickers and then below that the spinning circle.  It just spins, forever.  It never loads pictures.  I have re set up the printer a few times, uninstalled the app and re installed.  Nothing works.  I'm am on the latest Android OS.

Hi @MWirish

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP Sprocket Studio app is not loading your gallery on the Pixel 9 Pro XL and is stuck on the spinning circle, here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:

1. Ensure App Permissions are Enabled

  • Make sure the HP Sprocket app has access to your photos and storage.
  • Go to Settings > Apps > HP Sprocket > Permissions. Ensure that "Photos and Media" is allowed.
  • You may also want to check if "Location" is enabled, as some apps require it to connect to the printer.

2. Clear App Cache and Data

  • Sometimes the app's cache can get corrupted. Clear the cache and app data to see if this resolves the issue.
  • Go to Settings > Apps > HP Sprocket > Storage. Tap Clear Cache and then Clear Data.

3. Check Google Photos Syncing

  • If you are using Google Photos as your primary gallery app, ensure that all photos are properly synced to your device. Open Google Photos and confirm that your pictures are downloaded locally on your phone.

4. Try a Different Gallery App

  • If the Sprocket app relies on a specific gallery app to fetch images, try using the default gallery app or another third-party gallery app to see if it makes a difference.

5. Update the HP Sprocket App

  • Ensure you are using the latest version of the HP Sprocket app. Go to the Google Play Store, search for "HP Sprocket," and update if necessary.

6. Update the Printer Firmware

  • Check if there are any firmware updates for the HP Sprocket Studio by connecting the app to the printer. Firmware updates often resolve compatibility issues.

7. Check for Android 14 Compatibility Issues

  • Since you're on the latest Android OS, check if other users with the Pixel 9 Pro XL are experiencing similar issues. It's possible there may be an app compatibility issue with Android 14.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
