HP Sprocket 200
iOS

I have an HP Sprocket 200, when I press on the power button it doesn’t turn on and no light shows up. I have tried pressing and holding the power button and just pressing it but nothing seems to work. I have also updated my phone and the app to see if that would help but it didn’t make any difference.

Hi @a_fx

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the sprocket issue.

Appreciate you trying the steps. Please try charging the printer -

The battery might not have enough power to turn on. Charge the printer for at least 30 minutes, disconnect it, and then turn on the printer.

1.) Connect the USB cable to the printer, and then connect the other end to a power source with at least 2 AMPs, such as a wall adapter or USB-capable power strip.

Using a USB cable to charge the printer

2.) Charge the printer for at least 30 minutes or until the Charging Indicator light turns green.

3.) Disconnect the USB cable from the printer.

4.) Turn on the printer.

Also, try a factory reset -

1. Hold the power button for about 7 seconds total. After 3 seconds, the Status LED light will turn off to indicate the printer is shutting down; continue to hold the Power button until the LED lights start to flash.

2. Release the power button. The LEDs will continue blinking for about 6 seconds.

3. While the LEDs are blinking, press and release the power button. The device will remain off until you power on again. 4. Power on; the printer will be reset to factoring settings. After a factory reset, all settings are reset to factory defaults (Custom Name, LED color, Sleep Time, Auto-Off, etc.)

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
