I have a HP sprocket Studio Plus that will connect, and go through the printing motions.  However, it only produces a blank photo page.  Anyone else having this issue?  I have turned off Bluetooth, disconnected printer, uninstalled and reinstalled app.  Can anyone help me?  I have also installed new paper and ink cartridge roller.

Hi @Luv4Appies,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like you're experiencing a frustrating issue with your HP Sprocket Studio Plus, where it goes through the motions of printing but only outputs blank photo paper. Here are the recommended troubleshooting steps:

Troubleshooting Steps for Blank Prints

  1. Check the Ink Cartridge:
    • Ensure the ink cartridge is properly installed and not empty.
    • If recently replaced, make sure the protective tape was removed.

  2. Verify Paper Loading:
    • Use only HP Sprocket Studio Photo Paper.
    • Ensure the paper is loaded correctly with the glossy side facing up and the orange calibration sheet at the bottom.

  3. Update the Sprocket App:
    • Make sure you're using the latest version of the HP Sprocket app from the App Store or Google Play.

  4. Reset the Printer:
    • Turn off the printer, unplug it for 30 seconds, then plug it back in and power it on.

  5. Clean the Rollers:
    • Dust or debris on the rollers can cause blank prints. Use a lint-free cloth to gently clean them.

  6. Try a Different Photo:
    • Sometimes the issue may be with the image file. Try printing a different photo.

  7. Firmware Update:
    • Open the Sprocket app → Tap the printer icon → Check for firmware updates.

I hope this helps.

Take care, and have an amazing day!
