HP Sprocket

The print quality on my sprocket is really low as all the colours are off and it prints the photos a lot darker than they actually are. I don't expect perfect quality but I've compared my photos to dozens of reviews online and mine are definitely lower quality even when I print really high quality professional photos.

I've tried everything to fix this including;

lastest firmware update,

replace the paper to recalibrate with the blue sheet

fully charged sprocket

reset the sprocket

use genuinue paper

turned off the embedded experience setting

allow the printer to cool down

and not used damaged paper

absolutely nothing has worked, if anything the print quality has gotten lower overtime.

I'm really hoping there's a solution becuase if not this was a huge waste of money

@ainsleyfraser23,

Thank you for posting in the Hp community again. A good day to you. I will be happy to assist here. Brilliant troubleshooting and great analysis of the issue. Kudos to you for that.

  • DId you try printing from multiple devices?
  • What is the OS associated with the printer?

Let's try these steps:

uninstall and reinstall the sprocket app and check if it works.

If it continues, then As you've tried all the print quality related steps, the issue could be with the printer. I will send you a private message to assist you with the next course of action. Check your forum private message box in the upper right corner next to the bell icon.

Good luck and keep me posted about the developments. If this helps, please mark this as “Accepted Solution” as it will help several others with the same issue and give the post a Kudos for my efforts to help. Thank you and have a great week ahead. 🙂
