Example: Hp sprocket photo printer

hello! I have an hp sprocket photo printer and there has been a red light on for a while now, I had charged it for an hour and printed 10 photos and then it stopped so I thought it was dead so I put it back on the charger but the red light stayed on. The red light is not on the charger side it’s on the side that shows the power is on? Any suggestions? Thx

@Madisonhampton1, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Is the red light blinking or steady on the sprocket?

The sprocket may need 90 minutes before it is completely charged and the light turns into green.

Refer to this document to resolve a Blinking Red Status Indicator Light.

Reset the printer

On the printer, locate the pin-hole near the charging port, insert a straight pin into the hole to press the reset button until the printer turns off. Restart the printer.

Let me know how this goes.
