I received a 2 in 1 Sproket and I cannot close the view finder. I tried to reset

I just received the 2 in 1 sprocket and cannot close the view finder.  I followed the instructions in a prior issue and reset it, but it still will not close.

As I understand, the viewfinder does not close.
