Hi! I am having same issue with my printer. Quality is terrible in comparison to first use. I've used it only 2xs since I bought it. I have tried resetting as well. Picture is grainy and quality looks pixelated

Hi,

Firstly perform a PIN reset :

Beside the charging port ,you will notice the hole where you can insert a pin which will turn Off the printer and after it follow the below document ;

In case the issue persists ,then power off the printer and disconnect the printer completely from Bluetooth list by clicking "Forget this device" .Re-install the sprocket app from scratch.Power ON the printer and connect it back to the Bluetooth.

Check if any firmware upgrade is available.It will surely fix the issue .In case the issue persists then try with alternate set of sprocket papers.

Hi ApzPal,

 

Can i know were you using the same pouch of photo media that you use previously?

 

The photo media has to be used soon after you open the pouch. After you open it, the media will obsorb the mositure in the air and it will affect the print quality. Sprocket is using a thermal print head and the mositure will has a significant effect to the print quality.

 

If you are not using the same pouch. Every time you use a new pouch of photo media, always remember to put the Smartsheet inside the below the photo media.

 

Smartsheet is the blue color card that inside every photo media pouch. The bar code on the Smartsheet contains certain information of the photo media. And it will be different from batch to batch. The Smartsheet will help you to calibrate your Sprocket and achieve better print quality.
