Quality of photos printed out

HP sprocket
I recently got a sprocket as a gift and my first photo turned out fine. However, subsequent photos comes out with lines on them and they are really ugly! I do not know what to do! Please help!

Thanks for taking an interest in the HP Support Forums! After reading your post I see that you require assistance regarding the issues with printing on your sprocket printer. It will be a delight to assist you here.:)

For better clarity and to assist you better I would require more information regarding this.

  • Did you try to reset the printer?


For now please try these steps:

Please check the printer’s FAQs for print quality issues and resetting the printer.


Please follow these steps:

  • What if the printer does not print?
  • What can I do to improve print quality?
  • What paper and file sizes are supported?
  • How do I load a new pack of HP ZINK® Sticky-Backed Photo Paper?
  • What paper and file sizes are supported?
  • Can I send multiple print jobs at the same time?
  • Can I print to more than one printer?
  • How do I reset my printer?

If it does not then please contact HP phone support to get the printer replaced.

HP Technical Support can be reached by clicking on the following link:

  • Once the support page opens please select the country in which you're located. Next, enter your HP model number on the right.
  • Next, choose the 'Contact Support' tab at the top and scroll down to the bottom of the 'HP Support- Contact' page to fill out the form provided with your contact information.
  • Once completed click the 'Show Options' icon on the bottom right.
  • Lastly, scroll down to the bottom of the page and select 'Get phone number.' A case number and phone number will now populate for you.

They will be happy to assist you immediately. If the unit is under warranty repair services is taken care of by the manufacturer’s warranty


 Please perform all these steps patiently as it is critical to resolving the issue. The trick is to remain patient, please. Please note that I am not overloading you with a lot of troubleshooting steps. Instead, just like you, I am eager to ensure that the problem gets resolved. So I am providing you with more resources and information at your disposal to deal with the situation better.
