I just got my new sprocket 200. I have been charging it for a hours and have been waiting for the light to turn green. I even thought maybe its not charged all the way but enough to connect and it will not connect.

Hi @galexis77,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you're having trouble connecting your new Sprocket 200 despite charging it for a sufficient amount of time, here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue.

Check Charging Status:

  • Ensure that the charging cable is securely connected to both the Sprocket and the power source.
  • Confirm that the power source is working by trying a different outlet or USB port.

Restart the Sprocket:

  • Turn off your Sprocket and then turn it back on. This simple restart can sometimes resolve connectivity issues.

Update the Sprocket Firmware:

  • Check if there are any firmware updates available for your Sprocket. If so, update the firmware as it may include improvements and bug fixes.

Bluetooth Settings:

  • Make sure that Bluetooth is enabled on your device.
  • Check if the Sprocket is in discoverable mode. Some devices require the Bluetooth device to be in discoverable mode for pairing.

Forget and Reconnect:

  • On your device, forget the Sprocket in the Bluetooth settings.
  • Turn off Bluetooth on your device, then turn it back on.
  • Reconnect to the Sprocket and check if it establishes a connection.

Reset Sprocket:

  • If the issue persists, consider resetting the Sprocket to factory settings. Refer to the user manual for instructions on how to do this.

Remember to consult the user manual that came with your Sprocket for specific instructions and troubleshooting tips.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
