It was working great for the first 20 or so photos, then when I inserted new paper (the smart paper was on the bottom) and it started to print my photos horizontal lines started to appear on the photograph. To begin with I thought it was just bad paper however, I have inserted more paper and the problem is still there.

I've tried:

letting it cool down,

turning it on and off again,

checking the firmware (there is no update),

using Hp zink paper (I've only used this),

reloading the paper

I haven't had this for very long at all and want it to work well.

I added a photo in to show what it is doing to all photos it prints no matter what the colour is. If anyone has advice please help me!

@Hille3811, Welcome to HP Support Community!

If you have already performed the steps from the document HP Sprocket Printers - Improving Print Quality and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

Hope this helps!
