@Kass27, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

If your HP Sprocket is not turning on despite charging and resetting, here are some troubleshooting steps you can follow:

Check the LED Indicator Lights:

  • Ensure that the Charge LED Indicator Light is responding correctly.
  • If the Charge LED is not turning on or changing color (e.g., red while charging), it could indicate a problem with the charging process.

Check the USB Charging Cable and Connection:

  • Ensure the USB cable is properly connected to both the Sprocket and the power source.
  • Try connecting to a different USB port or power adapter to rule out a problem with the power source.

Perform a Hardware Reset:

  • Remove the Paper Cover and locate the small round reset button near the Paper Tray.
  • Press and hold this reset button until the printer turns off; it will restart automatically.

Try a Factory Reset:

  • If you want to perform a factory reset (which will reset all settings to default), ensure that the USB charging cable is NOT connected.
  • Hold the power button for about 7 seconds. The Status LED light will turn off after 3 seconds and then start to flash.
  • Release the power button, wait 6 seconds until the LEDs stop blinking, and then press the power button again.

Check the Battery:

  • Ensure that the battery is not completely drained and is charging. It is advised to allow the device some time (at least an hour) with a stable power source.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
