Sprocket
iOS 7 or earlier

Sprocket wont print from gallery but will from instagram and facebook. Message appears saying   Could not retrieve photo from gallery. It worked before the new upgrade installed on my phone.

I have uninstalled app and switched my phone off. Removed from bluetooth and nothing works.

Any help would be great

thanks

Welcome to HP forums, I see that you are unable to print from gallery using sprocket app.

Update iOS on the Apple device

  1. Plug your device into power.
  2. Tap Settings > General > Software Update.
    software update screen
  3. Tap Download and Install. If a message asks to temporarily remove apps because iOS needs more space for the update, tap Continue or Cancel. Later, iOS will reinstall apps that it removed.
  4. To update now, tap Install. Or you can tap Later and choose Install Tonight or Remind Me Later. If you tap Install Tonight, just plug your iOS device into power before you go to sleep. Your device will update automatically overnight.

The HP sprocket app or printer firmware might be outdated, or the printer might be connected to another Apple iOS device.

  1. On your mobile device, go to the HP Sprocket App in the App Store and check for an update.

  2. On your mobile device, open the HP sprocket app and make sure the printer firmware is up-to-date.

  3. Turn off the Bluetooth feature on any nearby Apple iOS devices, and then try to reconnect your Apple iOS device.
