Strange effect when printing to Sprocket Plus

HP Recommended
Sprocket Plus

I have a Sprocket Plus, with the current firmware version (1.0.5) and hardware version (6).  It used to work fine, but now, when I send pictures to it from my Galaxy S10e, the pictures have a sort of "tin-type" or "old-fashioned". Look to them.  They almost appear to be a hybrid of an actual photograph and a drawing.  When my wife prints to the Sprocket from her identical Galaxy S10e, her pictures come out perfect.  However, if I share a picture that I took on my phone, to her phone, and she prints it, the same effect happens. I don't have any problems printing the same picture to a regular (inkjet or laser) printer. So I can't figure what is going on.  I tried new HP Zink paper, with the same results.  I only use HP Zink paper.

I reviewed your post and I understand that the pictures printed have a tint effect when printed from your phone.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I recommend you uninstall the HP Smart app from the phone and reinstall and check if it helps.

If you continue facing the issue, then follow the steps in the below article.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
