OfficeJet Pro 6978?
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Where can I find parts for Hp OfficeJet Pro 6978? Sorry, but I am not sure if I am on the board, since there is no option to choose a board for Hp Printer Parts.

Let me add, I am not talking about the basic components. I am looking for a small plastic gear that fits over a steel bar which I think brings the paper underneath the print heads. I can't find the internal schematic for the printer, so I can't explain what I need clearly.

Welcome to the HP Community Forum.

There is not a board for parts.

Most consumer grade printers, of which the OfficeJet Pro series are a member, are generally not meant to be repaired "in the field".

What?

Business grade Laser printers, for example, those sold for use in small offices and home businesses, tend to offer more in the way of "self-repair" options.

What to do?

All is not yet lost.

There are lots of parts houses around, including those that provide parts for "consumer grade" printers.

You might find your part at one or more of these online merchants.

Search for your printer model name on the 'net - add the word "parts" to the search.
