@Sweetmandy, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding HP Sprocket Printer Printing Issues!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If your HP Sprocket printer is experiencing issues where it blinks white and then stops or shuts off without printing, here are several troubleshooting steps you can follow to identify and potentially resolve the problem:

Steps to Resolve Printing Issues

Turn On the Printer:

  • Ensure that the printer is powered on. By default, the printer might be set to turn off automatically. You can adjust the auto-off setting in the HP Sprocket app.

Charge the Printer:

  • Check the battery charge level. If the battery is low, charge the printer. The Charge LED indicator will show solid green when fully charged.
  • If the Charge LED is blinking red, the battery is too low to print.

Confirm Bluetooth Connection:

  • Verify that Bluetooth is turned on and that your mobile device is paired with the printer. If the connection is already established, try turning Bluetooth off and then back on to refresh the connection.

Load Photo Paper:

  • Ensure there is photo paper loaded in the input tray. You can load up to 10 sheets of HP Sprocket Photo Paper with the blue colored Print Quality Card (formerly the HP ZINK™ Smartsheet) at the bottom.
  • Make sure the Smartsheet® is loaded correctly with the barcode facing down and the paper with the print side facing up.

Proximity of Devices:

  • Move the printer and your mobile device closer together as Bluetooth signals can be weak over long distances.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
