@sarina81636, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand your HP Sprocket 2x3 was working fine but now won’t charge, even with the original charger. Let’s walk through some steps to help resolve this issue:

Check Charger and Cable

  • Ensure you're using the original HP Sprocket charger and cable.
  • If not, use a charger that meets the correct specs: 5V, 2A.
  • Try a different USB cable and wall adapter to rule out charger issues.
  • Plug into a different outlet or USB port.

Perform a Hard Reset

  • Locate the Reset button near the charging port or under the paper cover.
  • Use a paperclip or pin to press and hold the Reset button for 3 seconds.
  • Then press and hold the Power button and Reset button together for 10 seconds, release, and check if the device powers on.

Deep Charge

  • Sometimes the battery may be deeply discharged.
  • Plug the Sprocket into a power source and leave it charging uninterrupted for 1–2 hours.
  • Avoid pressing any buttons during this time.

Inspect Charging Port

  • Check for any dust, debris, or damage in the charging port.
  • Make sure the cable fits snugly and securely.

Update Firmware (if it powers on)

  • Open the HP Sprocket app on your phone.
  • Go to Settings > Printer Info > Firmware Update

Battery Calibration (Optional)

  • Fully charge the printer, then let it run until it completely discharges.
  • Repeat this cycle a couple of times to help recalibrate the battery

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
