Hi @Rose_222,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP Sprocket Studio printer is having trouble connecting to your phone and you encounter a blank screen when asked to select an accessory, try the following troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:

1. Ensure Compatibility

  1. Check Compatibility:
    • Ensure that your phone is compatible with the HP Sprocket Studio. The Sprocket Studio typically requires a smartphone with Bluetooth and a compatible operating system.

2. Update HP Sprocket App

  1. Update App:
    • Make sure you have the latest version of the HP Sprocket app installed on your phone. Go to your phone’s app store (Google Play Store for Android or Apple App Store for iOS), search for “HP Sprocket,” and update if necessary.

3. Restart Devices

Restart Printer:

  • Turn off your HP Sprocket Studio printer, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it back on.

Restart Phone:

  • Restart your smartphone to refresh its connectivity.

4. Check Bluetooth Connection

Enable Bluetooth:

  • Ensure that Bluetooth is enabled on your phone. Go to Settings > Bluetooth and make sure it’s turned on.

Forget and Re-pair:

  • If the printer was previously paired with your phone, try forgetting the printer in your phone’s Bluetooth settings and then attempt to pair again.
  • To forget a device, go to Settings > Bluetooth, find the printer in the list of paired devices, tap the info icon (i) or gear icon, and select Forget or Remove.

5. Check Printer’s Bluetooth Status:

  • Make sure the HP Sprocket Studio is in Bluetooth pairing mode. Check the printer’s manual for instructions on how to enter pairing mode.

6. Reinstall the HP Sprocket App:

  • Uninstall the HP Sprocket app from your phone and then reinstall it from the app store.

7. Check for Printer Firmware Update:

  • Sometimes, updating the printer’s firmware can resolve connectivity issues. Check the HP support website or use the HP Sprocket app to see if there are any available firmware updates for your Sprocket Studio.

8. Reset Printer to Factory Settings

  1. Factory Reset:
    • If none of the above steps work, try performing a factory reset on the HP Sprocket Studio. Refer to the printer’s manual or HP’s support website for instructions on how to reset the device.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
