Unable to download apps from the Marketplace

HP Recommended
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I am unable to download apps from the marketplace as an error message is displayed.

This installation package could not be opened. Contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid installeer package.

Kind regards Annette

Yes the Sprout is from HP. It did have the majority of apps on the device when it was supplied and then on an update the Sprout app disappeared. Our IT deparment reinstalled the app but the majority of applications are unable to now be downloaded. Do you suggest reinstalling the Sprout work station app? I have checked for updates.

Hi,

I had the same issue.

After updating all packages from category "Software solution" of the HP support page, everything works fine. Could download and install all packages - except Leopoly, which seems to contain malware detected by AVG.

Good luck

Rob
