Hey,
I bought my laptop 2 weeks ago and it just started developing battery problems about 4 days ago, is there any particular reason why and is there a solution.

@Samirtci

Welcome to the HP Forums,

We'll be with you, until it's all sorted.

If you haven't disabled the auto-charge while the device is turned off, yet,

here's what I recommend you do, to turn that off & resolve this concern:

  • Press the power button and then tap the F2 key to invoke the startup menu.
  • Choose and click on the F10 key to invoke the BIOS.
  • Use the System Configuration tab. Disable USB Charging  and press the F10 key to save the changes and boot into Windows.

If the issue persists, please perform a battery test using this link and let me know how it goes: Click here for steps.

If you feel I was helpful, simply click on Accept as Solution to help the community grow,

That said, I will have someone follow-up on this to ensure you've been helped,

Just in case you don't get back to us within 24 - 48 hrs, and have a good day, ahead.
