Brand New HP Stream laptop storage half full out-of-box?

My Grandmother bought me this laptop for Christmas, but she let me open it early so that I could work on my Game. I'm enjoying the laptop a whole lot, but when I opened it, I noticed my new laptop's storage was half full already!

Now, I'm not new to laptops. I know that they come with bloatware, and a certain amount of gigs have to go to system processes, but those can't add up to half of a 27.8 gigs in storage space, right?

Is there anything I can delete to fix this, or will I just have to invest in some micro SD cards?

You dont mention the model number, but I suspect that the answer is YES.

I am guessing it is a 32 Gb model?

Also did you say yes to there being things I can delete, or yes to this laptop just being limited in space.

There are updates there, and also a Recovery USB of upto 16 Gb which suggests a large install.

My suggestion is to download, either just the link or, all the drivers and store them separately. 

Then make a recovery USB if there is an option.

Because deleting stuff to slim down your storage could make the thing unbootable.

Also consider using the MS Creator tool to make an emergency repair USB.
