Hello just wondering can i use a 45 watt back up charger for my envy dv6 if it originally had a 65watt charger because the orginal charger stoped working

What is the model of the HP PC you are using?

Refer to this document to know how to find the Product Name or Number.

 

You may refer to the Service guide/product specifications of the PC on the HP Support site to check the details.

It is recommended to use the 65watt charger as HP has not tested other capacity power supplies on the PC.
