DESPERATE NEED FOR HELP
04-04-2019 10:30 AM

What isn't wrong with this darn thing? It started with low disc space, took me forever to deal with that because it wouldn't let me run anything due to low disc space, anyway later anytime I would try to use the internet for anything other than google it would crash. If O tried to do more than 1 thing at a time all of my programs would crash so I decided to try a reset, yeah that won't work either because I don't have enough disc space. Now I've deleted pretty much everything I've ever put on it and am trying to do a reset and it says I'm missing items needed to perform the reset. So I'm trying to download windows 10 but I can't because it says I need 8GB of free space but I have no idea how to do that when everything left on the thing was on it when I opened it out of the box. What the heck do I do? I need this for work!

Hi:
Create the W10 USB installation media using another PC with W7 or newer on it.
When you go to install W10 and you get to the part where you are asked where do you want to install Windows, delete every partition on the hard drive, leaving just one partition. Make sure it is set to the highest capacity.
Then W10 should install and you will have a little extra room for future updates and a couple of programs.

You're very welcome.
That is why you need to use another Windows PC to create the media.
If you don't have one, see if this works instead. Watch the video...the only difference is you would not select W10 Pro when it comes time to install.
Maybe downloading the ISO file will require less space.

If you still get the needs more space message, you will have to use another Windows PC with enough free space.
